Later, at 19 April 2011, a small workshop on Lake data assimilation was arranged at FMI, where participants from St.Petersburg, Waterloo (Canada) and Helsinki were attending. Please find below the presentations of this workshop.
A snow working week was arranged in Sodankylä 1-5 August 2011, with a seminar on 4th August. Participants from Sodankylä, Helsinki, St.Petersburg, Norrköping, Edinburgh and Oslo were attending. The seminar was related to the contribution of the numerical weather prediction modellers to the Snow and Avalanche Applications (SNAPS) project, funded by the European Union Northern Periphery programme.
