2nd Workshop on Parameterization of Lakes in Numerical Weather Prediction and Climate Modelling

SMHI, Norrköping, September 15-17 2010

Workshop web site

A few presentations have been chosen to be broadcast via internet during the workshop. The web conferencing tool "Elluminate" has been kindly shared by the Eumetcal Programme for this purpose. You can attend by clicking a link beside the presentation in the workshop programme or later at this page. After that you will be asked to insert your screen name and directly brought to the virtual room. You can choose your name and you do not need a password.

Before attending for the first time, you are requested to perform the system check (about 5 minutes) in your computer by visiting Elluminate support page (do step 1 and step 2). Please make the system check well in advance and contact the organisers (laura.rontu at fmi.fi, alessandro.chiariello at fmi.fi) in case you experience problems. Windows and Mac systems are recommended for participation as the software may not work in Linux as expected. You will need a headset with microphone or speakers + microphone and an internet connection with reasonable speed, preferably outside firewalls. Microphone is only for asking questions if you wish (and you can ask also by sending text messages)!

You can follow the presentations, ask questions and send comments. More advice is found in EUMETCAL instructions for Elluminate session participants.
